Meet Our Pastor

Rev. Linda Hunsaker grew up down the road in Valley Junction in West Des Moines, and graduated from Valley High School.  She finished her Master’s of Divinity from Eden Theological Seminary in St. Louis in 2001. Linda has been blessed with 2 long ministry placements of 13 years each, serving a sister denomination United Church of Chirst congregation, and as a Chaplain at Genesis MercyOne in Davenport. She is blessed to have been called to serve Elkhart Christian Church as her current call and working together with the good folk of Elkhart.

Linda has two kids, Hannah who is a funeral director with Mueller Funeral Homes in Peru, IL and Zeek who is living with Linda in Elkhart.  They have three cats, Bear, Elphie and Tempest and a Maltipoo Angel who keeps them entertained.  Linda enjoys gardening, scrapbooking, crochet,  reading and playing games.
